Foresters Financial is an international financial services provider with a unique history that began in 1874 when we set out to provide access to life insurance for average working families.
Our mission is to promote the well-being of everyday families and their communities. We aim to assist customers in achieving financial well-being and strive to support those who are often overlooked by the financial services industry.
Each year we invest millions to support causes that enrich the lives of our members, their families and their communities.
We provide our customers and members with the support and advice they need to make confident financial decisions – bridging the advice gap and offering support to all – not just those with lots to invest.
With over 150 Foresters Financial Advisers across the UK, you have the choice to meet face-to-face in the comfort of your home, or by video appointment, any adviser meetings are included in your Plan so there is no extra cost to you.
Our products are designed to help build good savings habits and establish financial security for the future – whether it be for further education, a house deposit, retirement savings, or financial protecting your family.
Any profit we make is used to give back to our members in the form of member benefits. That's the benefit of being a mutual - we don't have any shareholders.
We give back with community volunteer activities where our members can contribute to making a positive impact, at no cost to them.
Being a Foresters member means you get access to discounts, educational and scholarship opportunities, rewards for making healthy choices with our wellness app, and more!
Member benefits are not regulated by the PRA or the FCA and may change in the future.
We are fulfilling our Purpose now and into the future. Sustainability is woven into everything we do - from product design and investment strategies to member benefits, our offices, and our culture.
We recognise that the future for families and young people is dependent on the natural world, including a stable climate.
Founded as a fraternal society, Foresters started providing affordable life insurance to working families.
Dr. Oronhyatekha led Foresters to become a thriving organisation, supporting thousands of families.
We expanded our efforts, supporting communities worldwide with food drives, charities and social causes.
As the post-war boom years ended, Foresters global charity work continued to grow. In 1972, B.C. Hallum was elected as our new Supreme Chief Ranger. Together with his wife Florence, they rallied members over causes like the prevention of child abuse and the expansion of old-age support homes across Canada, the US and the UK.
Through grants and partnerships, we’ve empowered members to invest millions into improving lives locally and globally.
For a century and a half, we’ve helped families secure their financial futures and make a difference in their communities. Together, we continue to do more good.
