“Foresters has been building me a purpose…
They teach you how to lead, how to share, how to be.”
- Vickie Taylor-Nance, Member Leader
Vickie Taylor-Nance has been a Foresters member for over seven years and is a proud leader in the Western US Regional Council. Over 60% of Foresters member leaders are female, and Vickie is part of this group of women who make an impact in their communities – women who are not only giving back but leading those volunteer efforts.
At Foresters, we believe that leadership is an essential part of giving back and we support women to become strong community leaders. Our member leaders focus their efforts where they are needed most in their communities. They help shape the Foresters member experience and collaborate with like-minded members to make an even bigger impact in their local community and beyond.
All Foresters members belong to a local branch and have the opportunity to elect local leaders or to even stand for election themselves. Developing leadership skills that can be used in your personal life or career is one more benefit of becoming a Foresters member.
