Blake Moore was appointed President of North American Asset Management at Foresters Financial™ in January of 2018. In this role, he provides leadership and oversight of all asset management and related businesses, including Foresters Financial Services, Inc., a registered broker-dealer; Foresters Investment Management Company, Inc., a registered investment advisor for First Investors Family of Mutual Funds; and Foresters Asset Management, Inc., a Toronto-based asset management company.
He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, most recently as Head of the Americas Region at UBS Asset Management, which had over $600 billion in global assets under management. He’s also held senior executive positions for Mackenzie Investments and Allianz Global Investors.
Blake has a passion for giving back and has been engaged with a variety of non-profits. He is currently a member of the College of Wooster Board of Trustees, and has been chair of the College’s most recent capital campaign (successfully exceeding $165 million), wrapping up in 2018. Previously he served on the boards of the Greater New York Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Central Park Conservancy. Blake also served on the board of the Investment Adviser Association for many years.
Blake has a law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in history from the College of Wooster. He also played six seasons in the National Football League for both the Cincinnati Bengals (where he played in Super Bowl XVI) and the Green Bay Packers. Blake is also the author of his football memoirs, Through a Pigskin Prism: An Unlikely Journey to and through the NFL.
