What is term life insurance?

Term life insurance can help your family continue to meet financial obligations such as mortgage payments and college tuition in the event of your unexpected death. With a fixed premium and a set coverage amount, term life insurance is useful if you need financial protection for a specific period of time. Certificate terms range from 10 years to 30 years, with a benefit payable if you die during the designated period.
