Foresters Financial celebrates Global Volunteer Month with the Great Community Cleanup Challenge

Cleanup initiative events were held in Canada, the US and the UK

(Toronto, ON, June 13, 2023) – Foresters Financial™ (Foresters), the fraternal life insurer boldly redefining the industry through innovation, purpose and wellness, celebrates the volunteers who participated in the Foresters Financial Great Community Cleanup Challenge through the month of April.

Cleanup Challenge events were held in the US, Canada and the UK throughout the month and Foresters members, producers and employees all pitched in to help in their communities. More than 200 members came out to support this great cause and took the challenge even further by posting pictures on the Foresters Go app which is an innovative wellness platform that integrates wearable technology to inspire and reward healthy lifestyles.

Employees at Foresters collected more than 100 bags of litter and trash as part of our commitment to sustainability and giving back.

“I’d like to thank everyone who participated. It’s inspiring to see the passion, commitment and impact Foresters and our members have had in their local communities,” said Stefanie Attard, AVP, Member Engagement, Governance & Development. “The act of giving back is who we are, and volunteerism is a cornerstone pillar of Foresters values that has helped shape our identity for nearly 150 years.”

“At Foresters, we are committed to sustainability to help create a better future. Our goal is to ensure we enrich the well-being of your families and communities. Our members and our employees truly value giving back to their communities. I’m proud of the work we’ve done in the past to support sustainability and thrilled to look ahead to how the Foresters sustainability strategy will contribute to cleaner, safer and healthier communities,” said Louis Gagnon, President and CEO of Foresters Financial.
