It is with great sadness that Foresters Financial announces that their CEO, Euan Allison, passed away last week. UK Chairman Mr. John Young, said “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and the numerous colleagues who had worked with him for a considerable period of time and had come to know him personally”.
Euan joined Foresters in 1994, becoming CEO in 2008. Ever since, he played a major role in the strategic and operational changes that have made Foresters what it is today; a financial organisation which looks after over 3 million members and customers in the U.K with over £5.5 billion funds under management.
Under Euan’s leadership Foresters Financial has recently undergone a digital transformation, allowing 1.5 million children the choice to manage their savings online, whilst still offering the option of personal financial advice to these children and their parents too. It was his ongoing belief that ‘customers should be able to do business with Foresters how they choose to’ and his hands-on approach to make that happen will be dearly missed.
Currently, there are no details in respect of funeral arrangements, and we will continue to respect the privacy and wishes of Euan’s family.
Mrs. Latinka Pilipovic, has been appointed as Interim CEO and will also continue with her existing responsibilities as Chief Finance Officer. Latinka joined Foresters in May 2015 as CFO and has over 20 years' experience in the UK Insurance industry, having worked previously in PwC, Aviva and Legal and General. In 2021, Latinka was appointed onto the UK Board of Directors.
