Rolling up our sleeves and helping communities
175 playgrounds and counting!
In December of 2024, Foresters and our long-standing partner, KABOOM!, created our 175th playspace. We came together in Fullerton, California, with over 130 volunteers to help the Boys & Girls Club of Fullerton build a beautiful new playspace at the Lozano Teen Center.
Our team of volunteers originally received a creative vision from the children of the Boys & Girls Club of Fullerton a few months before the build. Using the children’s drawings and requests, Foresters and KABOOM! put together a final playspace design.
The latest playground from this wonderful partnership was designed using the vision of the children who will use the space to play, grow and foster new friendships. We know this playspace will serve the community for many years to come.
Providing education around money management
Through our partnership, MyBnk has delivered 15 expert-led sessions, equipping about 120 young adults in vulnerable circumstances with essential 'survival' money skills and knowledge. These practical tools, supported by Foresters' funding, can be immediately applied as they transition into independent living.
Helping an inspiring charity
You Can Ride 2 (YCR2), a Canadian charity focused on providing adaptive bikes and cycling lessons for children with different abilities, received $50,000 CAD from Foresters BIG Give donation as we celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2024.
Canadian members submitted video pleas for the charities they felt deserved a helpful donation. An Edmonton-based member submitted their plea for YCR2 after seeing the difference the charity made for their son in the program. The team at Foresters resonated with the member’s story and how YCR2 helped them clearly see their son’s abilities rather than his limitations.

Foresters works with charitable organisations across Canada, the US and the UK to provide more opportunities to give back and support important causes. These partners share our vision while bringing people together to do more good in our communities and for the people we love most.
Our partners in North America and the UK
The Whole Kids Foundation supports children and their families in learning about nutrition and wellness. By partnering with organisations like Foresters, the Whole Kids Foundation helps provide grants for school gardens and organises sustainability activities like pollinator preservation events.

Since 2006, Foresters Financial and KABOOM! have built 175 beautiful playspaces across 102 cities in 31 states and provinces throughout North America7. Thanks to the hard work of Foresters members, employees, sales agents and guests for the last 19 years, we are positively impacting the lives of more than seven million children by providing them with access to play8.
Evergreen champions sustainable change in communities across Canada to help make cities more livable, green and prosperous. Since 2020, Foresters has partnered with Evergreen to create a series of sustainable gardens at the Evergreen Brick Works site in Toronto, Ontario that support pollinators, provide access to nutritious food and foster a regenerative ecosystem.
Clean Trails is a community of people focused on keeping the world’s natural spaces and the trails that pass through them clear of litter. National Cleanup Day is an initiative by Clean Trails that calls on people to join or start a cleanup project in their communities.
5th World seeks to leverage technological innovation, human ingenuity and the wisdom of nature to foster a positive, more abundant future for all. Their vision is to help build autonomous and regenerative communities that thrive, grow fresh, nutritious and delicious food, are a source of reliable clean water and harvest renewable energy. Through Foresters partnership with 5th World, we aim to build sustainable and regenerative food forests that can feed our communities for generations to come.
U.S. Hunger is an organisation committed to solving food insecurity by providing healthy meals to people and creating a hunger-free world.
Our Partners in the UK
The Conservation Foundation creates a wide range of programmes supporting the preservation of our environment and educating people about the difference we can all make in our world. The Foundation encourages people to become involved in a number of ways including tree planting, community clean-ups, supporting community gardens and more.
The Cash for Kids mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. We work with grassroots organisations that aim to make a difference in young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go. Volunteers looking to fundraise can do so through one of the 22 regional teams across the UK.
MyBnk is a financial education charity dedicated to creating a financially fluent population. MyBnk believes that financial literacy should be considered a right for all because the language of money is a language for life.
