Clark Wagner was appointed President, Foresters Investment Management Company and Chief Investment Officer, Foresters™ in 2016. He leads the U.S. investment, research and strategy, and fund accounting teams and oversees management of more than $15 billion in assets.
Clark has 30 years’ experience in the fixed income markets. He joined Foresters as Portfolio Manager for municipal bond funds and was appointed Director of Fixed Income in 2001. Clark previously worked at General Electric Investment Corporation, American Express and National Westminster Bank USA.
Clark is a member of the Pension Investment Association of Canada, Municipal Analysts Group of New York, and Municipal Bond Buyers Conference where he served as past Chairman, and a past member of the Investment Company Institute’s Municipal Securities Advisory Committee.
Clark received a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Williams College in Massachusetts. He is actively involved with the Great Swamp Watershed Association and Nantucket Conservation Foundation.
