The fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth and produce a return (in respect of income and capital growth) that aims to match as closely as possible the performance of the FTSE 100 Custom Screened Index, before fees and charges are deducted, by investing in UK shares. This index is an amended version of the FTSE 100 Index that aims to invest more responsibly by excluding companies involved in industries such as Controversial Weapons, Thermal Coal and Tobacco.
