Together, we build stronger communities Here’s what makes us a different kind of life insurance company

At Foresters Financial, caring for communities has been a core value since our founding in 1874. Yes, 1874! We’ve been a socially responsible business for nearly 150 years —focused on giving back, enriching lives and building stronger communities. Our business is, and always has been, purpose-driven. We provide life insurance and a unique set of member benefits, both dedicated to the well-being of individuals, families and communities.

We exist to give back.

Caring Through Crisis

When the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the globe, our commitment to communities became even more important. We created a temporary grant program called Caring Through Crisis (CTC) to support members who want to give back in their communities through safe, contact-free volunteer efforts.

CTC grants provide funding of up to $250 (in local currency) for each member to address a COVID-19 need in their communities. Members can apply for up to two separate grants.

Life insurance with a larger purpose

Life insurance with a larger purpose — this goal guides everything we do, from strategic decision-making to product innovation and member benefit programs. We help people take care of themselves, their families and their communities.

Our social responsibility initiatives fall under three focus areas.
