Foresters Community Grants Programme
Our popular and valuable Foresters Community Grants programme lets you apply online for a financial grant so that you can organise Community Volunteer activities and Fun Family events that are meaningful to you and your community. In 2017, we invested over $4.4 million1 in member-organised activities enabling more than 128,000 members and their families to spend quality time together, have fun and give back.
Host your own activity with a Community Grant
At Foresters Financial, we believe in doing more for you, your family and your community. We offer community grants to help you plan, organise and fund activities that give back to your local community. Every year we support our members with grants to help them organise inspiring Community Volunteer (CI) activities like Care Packages, Community Beautification, Create & Construct, Meal Help, and Volunteer Support activities. And for members looking to bring fellow their Foresters members together, Fun Family (MI) events such as movie screenings, theme parks, county fair days are a just some of the ways to support and strengthen your local community by applying for a community grant.

Getting a Grant in 3 Easy Steps
Planning an activity can be as much fun as the activity itself. And it’s as simple as following 3 easy steps:
Step 1: Get Inspired
Members have used their grants to assemble care packages for people in-need or to do a community beautification to refresh a park, beach or playground for the whole community to enjoy.
Get started by choosing a local cause that you're passionate about to host a Community Volunteer (CI) activity or choose a local event to invite your fellow Foresters members to come together for a Fun Family (MI) event.
Get inspired by the great work that other members have done in their communities:
Step 2: Create a plan
We’ve got all the helpful resources, including Activity Guides and a Sample Application to assist you in your grant application. Visit our Resources page to find and download all the tools you’ll need to apply for a Grant:
