MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Eligible applicants are:
- Biological or legally-adopted, dependent children of Foresters™ member or Foresters member, aged 25 years or under; or
- Foresters members and/or their spouse, aged 25 years or under
- Foresters member and/or their spouse who are mature students who are currently enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies (excluding masters or PhD level)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- The dependent child or the Foresters member, 25 years of age or under must have:
- Minimum average of 75% (Canadian tens scale) or a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in the last year of studies if enrolled in bachelor studies in the year of the award and 65% or a GPA of 2.5 in the last year of studies if enrolled in diploma studies in the year of the award
- Mature students will have their academic qualifications evaluated based on proof of registration at an eligible institution as submitted as part of their application package
- All applicants (dependents and mature students) must have performed a minimum of forty (40) hours of community service in the 2 years prior to application. Community service is volunteering for any recognized Community Organization (e.g. Boys & Girls Club, Lions Club, Girl Guides, Sports camps, School or Religious institution etc).

A Foresters Scholarship of up to $8,000 can help with the rising costs of post-secondary education*.
