Yes, as a legal or common-law spouse of an eligible member you are eligible to apply for an FCS.
I was a scholarship recipient at the age of 23 and I am currently turning 26 and returning to school. I have not yet received all four years of award payments. Do I need to reapply as a mature student or am I eligible to follow the normal renewal process?
If you are an eligible member, you can continue with the normal renewal process. If you were not a member prior to turning 26 (i.e. a spouse or dependant), you must become a member to be eligible to continue the normal renewal process.
Will I still be able to apply for an FCS if I can’t obtain proof of my community service?

I completed over 40 hours of community service when I was in grades 9 and 10. Can I use this service to qualify for an FCS?
No, your community service hours must be obtained in the two years leading up to your FCS application. You can contact your school guidance department, Connect America, Volunteer Canada or your local Foresters Branch to find out where you can contribute 40 hours between now and the next FCS application deadline.
Will the FCS end upon completion of my undergraduate program or can I still continue as a graduate student until the four years of award payments have been made?
The FCS award will end when you complete your first undergraduate degree or diploma, or after four years (whichever comes first). Graduate studies are not eligible for the FCS.
