Regional Council Message

Greetings to members in Minnesota, North and South Dakota and Wisconsin! I hope all of you are seeing at least some signs of change toward spring. As many of you witnessed at the Regional Assembly, the Regional Council has undergone change also. First, I want to thank our outgoing officers – Shirlee Sova, Doug Classon, and Dennis Butler – and tell them I appreciated all their assistance and cooperation during the past 4 years.

I am pleased to welcome Steve Lafontaine to his new position as Vice President; Darlene Immel as Treasurer; Kendra Heagle and Andy Paszak as Councilors. Darlene, Kendra and Andy are the new members of the Council.

Thank you also for your confidence shown in me by re-electing me as your Regional President. I look forward to working with many of you again; although I will be giving other Regional Council members an opportunity to share their skills and knowledge with you over the next four years also.

Regional Council members who were elected to attend the International Assembly in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 15-17, 2009, are Sally Alft, Bob Naylor, Steve Lafontaine, and Carl Lange.

Bob Naylor, Regional Council President
