Regional Message 

Now that 2009 is coming to end it is time to think about 2010 and our up-coming Branch elections. Here is an opportunity to help your local Branch by stepping up and helping to plan future activities that you would like to see in your area. Just volunteering to serve on a committee would be very helpful to your Branch. I would hate to see some of our Branches close if no one steps up.

At the International Assembly, held in Halifax, Nova Scotia this past June our Regional Council Vice President, Chris Stranahan was elected to the Foresters Board of Directors. With this happening the Mid-Eastern Regional Council selected Regional Councilor Jim Henschen as our new Regional Council Vice President and Wanda Stranahan was selected as the new Regional Councilor.

I want to congratulate our Branch’s for making this a very memorable year for our members, in providing them with different and enjoyable events. You make me very proud to be your Regional Council President and I thank you.
