Laraine worked in health care for over 20 years at Saint Luke's South Hospital, where she was Executive Administrative Assistant to the CEO until retiring in 2008. Her association with Foresters began in 1974 and she has been actively involved, holding Branch and Regional Council positions. She was Regional Council President from 2003 to 2008 and has been a member of the Fraternal Consultation Group and Regional Council Policies Development Committee and has received numerous awards for her Foresters Branch service. She volunteers at a wide range of charitable organizations. Laraine lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband, Wayne. They have six children and 17 grandchildren.
