The Independent Order of Foresters (“Foresters”)

Foresters is more than a life insurance provider. We’re a fraternal benefit society.  That means we don't have shareholders. Instead, we invest in our members, their families and the communities where they live. Our purpose is to champion the well-being of families through quality life insurance, unique member benefits and inspiring community activities.

 

Foresters provides insurance in Canada and the United States.  It also provides member benefits to qualifying insureds and annuitants of Foresters and of some of the companies described below.  Our complimentary benefits of membership include: fun family events, competitive scholarships and grants to support member-directed volunteer activities. These member benefits help families like yours live for today, plan for tomorrow and make a difference along the way.

 

Foresters owns all of the companies described below, either directly or indirectly.  Together, we make up the Foresters Family of Companies.

Foresters Life Insurance Company (“Foresters Life”)

Foresters Life is a Canadian incorporated life insurance company, which provides financial security to Canadians through its quality life insurance products.  Qualifying Foresters Life insureds and annuitants are also members of Foresters, and receive Foresters unique member benefits to further enhance the well-being of families.

 

Foresters Life is a member of Assuris.

 

Foresters Canada

In this website, “Foresters Canada” means the operations of the Foresters Family of Companies in Canada.  This includes Foresters when it sells insurance or provides member benefits in Canada.

 

 

United States

The First Investors Family of Companies

The First Investors Family of Companies operates under the umbrella of First Investors Consolidated Corporation (“FICC”).  FICC owns the following subsidiaries:

• First Investors Corporation (“FIC”), a registered broker dealer;
• First Investors Management Company , Inc. (FIMCO), a registered investment advisor;
• First Investors Life Insurance Company (“FIL”), a New-York domiciled company that develops and issues life insurance and annuity products; and
• Administrative Data Management Corp. (“ADM”), a transfer agent, which maintains shareholder records and handles questions from clients and representatives.
